More than swimwear.
A love letter to Timor-Leste.
TÁSI was born from the ocean that surrounds Timor-Leste and from a desire to create timeless swimwear that celebrates confidence, culture and connection.
Hi, I'm Carol.
Growing up with proud East Timorese heritage, I always carried a deep connection to the ocean.
It wasn't just somewhere we visited.
It was home.
The colours, landscapes and slower rhythm of island life stayed with me long after I returned to Australia.
After years of searching for swimwear that truly fit, supported and celebrated women's bodies, I realised I wasn't looking for someone else's brand.
I was searching for the one I wanted to create.
That's how TÁSI began.
TÁSI means "ocean" in Tetum.
The ocean surrounds Timor-Leste. It connects villages. It tells stories. It represents freedom, strength and home. Choosing the name TÁSI was never just about swimwear.
It was about creating something that carries a piece of Timor-Leste into the world.
RAI 'Land.'
Our debut collection is called RAI, the Tetum word for land.
Every colour tells the story of Timor-Leste.
🌿 Ai-laran - Inspired by lush tropical forests.
🏖 Areia - Soft sand beneath your feet.
❤️ Tais - The deep pomegranate red found within traditional Timorese weaving.
☕ Arabica - Rich coffee grown in the Timorese highlands.
Every name.
Every shade.
Every detail.
Chosen with intention.
TÁSI was created for women who are tried of choosing between fit, style or support, Every silhouette has been thoughtfully refined to created pieces that feel secure, flattering and effortlessly elegant.
From the beginning, it was important that TÁSI proudly showcased East Timorese women. Not because representation is a trend. Because beauty has always existed there. Our campaign celebrates the strength, resilience and diversity of Timorese women while honouring the culture that inspires everything we create.
Giving back has always been part of TÁSI's story. A portion of every sale is donated to FOKUPERS in Timor-Leste, supporting women, protecting survivors of violence and strengthening local communities.
TÁSI is more than swimwear.
